  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and sour cream into the butter mixture until combined.
  4. Layer half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, then repeat with the remaining batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
