  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cocoa powder over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat.
  2. Place chocolate chips in a blender and pour the hot milk mixture over them. Let sit for a couple of minutes to soften the chocolate, then add vanilla extract and sea salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture into eight ice pop molds. Freeze for about 30 minutes before inserting popsicle sticks.
  4. Freeze overnight or until completely solid.
  5. To serve, run warm water over the outside of each mold for easy release.
