  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 beaten Egg (for brushing)
  • Powdered Sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until thin enough to twist but thick enough to hold the filling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and ground cloves until well blended.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into strips about 2 inches wide. Place a spoonful of pumpkin filling on one side of each strip, fold over, and twist to shape.
  5. Arrange the twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
